I do not mean to be patronizing, and as many people will
attest, NOTHING I do is covert.

So let me make it plain.  Your reasoning about the ultimate
good and first priority is exactly identical to the explanation
use by the US military for its actions in the village of Ben Tre,
Vietnam.

"In order to save the village, we had to destroy it."

Ultimately, you see, it was in the villagers' best interests
to be dead as the first priority was to secure the village
from the NLF.

So when people start sacficing the welfare of a child, when
people do from the left what the Miami group did from the
right, i.e. make a child a politcal cudgel, and justify that
by the immediate or greater good of an abstraction called
a "party or "all future children," then there really is no
point to further discussion.
