I have away from my computer because of the W32 Blaster - blast it. (Les
can you help?) and it is great to log on again. Such good stuff to
read. This post from Lou cheered me up no end and it was good to hear Stan
Goff's voice too.

To think we might be on a winner here is almost intoxicating. What would a
victory be like? I have only ever had "glorious defeats".

I have to say though that I cannot detect any turn in Australian coverage -
perhaps because as Tom pointed out our exposure to the war of resistance is
minimal.

Also culturally Australians don't seem to care much about lying
politicians. for them it's like dog bites man stuff.
