Philippines military rebellion
Has anyone been following this?
Rumours are that there may be serious mass support for the "mutiny".
It's a pretty big setback on the war against the Moro people's
liberation struggle anyway. I haven't heard definitely how the
Philippines left is responding, if anyone has info it would be good to hear.
The big revelation (not really news to anyone who follows Philippines
events with a critical eye) is that the rebel troops have blown the
whistle on being ordered to stage bombings which are blamed on the Moro
Islamic Liberation Front.
