Dear friend (should I call you comrade?):

I am a professor here at the Departamento El Hombre y su Ambiente (Man
and Environment) of the Universidad Autnoma Metropolitana-Xochimilco,
and I have published a fair number of papers on energy and
environmental problems, mostly here in Spanish, but also some in
English, for example a long article on the reception of Limits of
Growth, that was published in Environmental History. I read with great
interest the comment on Marx critique of Malthus included in Michael
Perelman's book. I have been working on a book length manuscript that
includes a chapter on Socialists on Malthus, plus another on the
reception of Malthus. Of course I write in Spanish. They might be too
long for posting them, but if you are interested I could send them to
you.
