Defending Cuba or not?
Michael D.:
"Am I to be forever defending the Cuban Revolution against
Imperialism without ever feeling confident that I have any
understanding of its true nature?"
If I am not wrong, dear Michael, you are living in an imperialist
country, ruled by an imperialist bourgeoisie and, if I am still not
wrong an imperialist bourgeoisie very actively trying to destroy the
Cuban revolution.
Any serious Marxist in an imperialist country knows that the first
task is to fight against her or his own bourgeoisie. Even if you
didn't know anything else on Cuba, thefact that your own bourgeoisie
attacks her should be enough. You should try with all your forces to
stop that attack.
So that my answer to your question is "Of course yes".
