This might be more your area than mine, Les, so I'll defer to your
definitions of "proportionality" and how that taxation of the rich can
be determined to be "disproportionate." For example, proportions of
what? In what cases?
Do those with a disproportionate share of the wealth pay a
disproportionate share of taxes? I mean, those who actually pay any at
all? And this report is limited to page 1 of the tax return, as
mentioned; i.e., municipal bonds, etc. are not figured in.
Further: this report dealt with Income.
Wealth share is another --a whole other-- *dynamic* factor.
