Re: Castro Protests EU Decision With March
Right, Walter; furthermore, Anita Snow writes "Perez Roque also
criticized Italy."
But he did not criticize the country of Italy nor its people.
He analysed Berlusconi's reactionary associations with Aznar and the USA
(a spooky reminder to me of the fascist fraternity of Mussolini and
Franco).
In his speech Perez Roque was very clear in his distinction between
governments in the reins of the right and the people they rule over.
Snow on the other hand conflates the capitalist state and the masses.
Recent polls, however, indicate that the people are generally opposed to
the current reactionary regimes in both Spain and Italy. This was the
case with Iraq. As the usual suspects set up and irritate the Cuban
Revolution (and I suggest that they act not at the bidding of the US but
in concert with complementary US reactionary politics against the
internationalist left), they may put a more critical realization in
motion with the masses, something analogous to Nkrumah's notion of
international class war. As Lenin might have beckoned the
Euro-bourgeoisie: "Hey, good deals on rope!"
