Re: Redbaiting garbage on www.counterpunch.org
You didn't mention this delightful gem:
----
Reverend Billy made peace with authentic protestors, while others screamed
at the ANSWER folks, "March, march! Chant, Chant! Rhetoric, rhetoric!
Rant, rant!."
----
So evidently the "ANSWER folks" are not "authentic" protestors, and
directing sarcastic chants at other protestors is a positive approach to
stopping the war.
Right.
Then there was this gem on the linked web page ("International RESPONSE" ha
ha):
----
The World Says No To War, the February 15 rally, was not organized by
A.N.S.W.E.R., so there is no excuse for staying home on February 15
----
Ah, so encouraging people to stay away from demonstrations that are
organized by ANSWER is yet another positive approach to stopping the war.
Right.
Then there is the suggestion is another linked web page that Ramsey Clark is
really a
"deep-cover spook."
Right.
To call this garbage is an insult to genuine refuse.
