Dear Carl:

While probably only Leo Casey can confer the title in full, I certainly
can  -- And I Do --  as SocUnity Moderator, hereby confer on you, Carl
Bloice, the title of HONORARY WASTE OF TIME.

I'm posting this about since it's a truly HISTORIC WASTE OF TIME.

Remember the fine old version of Inherit the Wind?  In that Scopes Trial
depiction, Clarence Darrow [Henry Drummond as played by Spencer Tracy]
objects to the fact that William Jennings Bryan [Matthew Harrison Brady,
played by Frederic March] has been given, by the State of Tennessee, the
title of Colonel.  The increasingly beleaguered judge mulls it over, then
makes Darrow/Drummond a "Temporary Honorary Associate Colonel."

Next to Salt of the Earth and Shane, the old Inherit the Wind is a very
favorite film of mine.

I'm very pleased, Carl, to have you as a fellow Waste of Time.  Makes Idaho
much less lonely.
