IRAQ LIBERATION FRONT

There is a newly formed IRAQ Liberation Front which is opposed to the
coalition forces and U.S. hegemony in the Middle East and the ILF vows
resistance to the occupation.

Abdel-Rahim Ali in Islam Online (http://IslamOnline.net) - April 11 -
reported that Iraqi "patriots" vowed a few days ago an organized
resistance by establishing the National Front for the Liberation of Iraq.

   "A statement entitled "Aggression Ends, Liberation Begins", a copy of
   which was obtained by IslamOnline.net Friday, April 11, said the new
   Front comprises local representatives of armed groups and resistance
   brigades, some still manning positions in Iraq along with Arab

This new resistance group includes, it says, many former member of the
Iraqi army, Republican Guard and Iraqi Special Forces and the declaration
says:

   "Iraq may lose the war, but it would never surrender or die,"
   underlined the statement.

The document does not state if the ILF is Islamic in orientation or
Marxist but it obviously emphasizes a pan-Arab view which considers all of
the Arab nations to be one Arab nation. Columnist El-Amir el-Rakabi said
"reliable political sources told him the Front founders belong to some
Islamic and nationalist trends in Iraq." according to IslamOnline. It
appears that the ILF is pursuing in the first instance, an Arab
Nationalist approach and will likely include Islamists as well as
secularists and the objectives are first to rid the area of imperialist
Coaliton Forces.

It charges that those chosen by the coaliton to lead an interim government
are all CIA agents.

   "All of the Front members share a common concern; feeling the
   bitterness of defeat at the hands of the occupation forces," said
   El-Rakabi [IslamOnline]

The ILF is determined to "liberate" Iraq from the fake liberators,
George Bush and Tony Blairs'
OCCUPATION FORCES.

   "The Iraqi people should keep in mind that what happens in their
   country is reminiscent of the situation in Palestine, south Sudan,...
   the battle is common and the enemy is common," underlined the

   "The sources, who left Iraq on Thursday, told El-Amir el-Rakabi that
   the Front was formed through intensive contacts shortly after the U.S.
   forces occupied Baghdad and the Iraqi regime fell.."

   He said that "all of the Front members share a common concern; feeling
   the bitterness of defeat at the hands of the occupation forces."

AND El-Amir el-Rakabi stated the ILF has started accepting volunteers and
is calling on other "national powers" in Arab countries to support the
newly-formed liberation body with money and weapons in order to liberate
Iraq from the Anglo-American occupation.

The Formation of the National Front for the Liberation
of Iraq

The aggression is over . . . . The liberation has
begun.

We would have been able to resist for years.  So what
has happened?  How did everything collapse suddenly
like this?  Who gave the keys of Baghdad to Hulagu
this time?

Historians must analyze how the tragedy came about.
As for us, we are busying ourselves at this moment
with making history, not with sitting down to relate
it.

Immediately the leaderships of the patriotic forces
from all regions of Iraq undertook a series of intense
communications that ended with the formation of the
National Front for the Liberation of Iraq.  Field
representatives of various armed groups took part in
its establishment.  The Resistance Brigades, some of
which until now are still holding their positions,
joined it as did the volunteers from the fraternal
Arab regions. In addition, a regrouping has begun of a
large number of officers and men of the army and the
Republican Guard and the Special Forces, after they
had split apart and remained without leaders.  Iraq
has been defeated.  But it is not dying or
surrendering.

We will not permit ourselves to be ruled by the
Zionist general Garner, the close friend of Sharon.
We will not permit ourselves to be ruled by the thief
of Baghdad named Ahmad Chelebi, or the thieving Gang
of the Forty, such as Nizar al-Khazraji, Nuri Abd
Al-Razzaq, Mahdi al-Hafiz, Adham as-Samarra'i, Abd
al-Hasan Zilzilah, or others on that list of
collaborators with the CIA or the Mossad.

Proud Iraq will never accept the distribution of its
territory or its wealth to the war criminals and
invading murderers, or the sectarian or ethnic
fragmentation of its people in accordance with the
plans of the modern Mongols - the Zionists and the
Americans.  The whole world will witness an epic of
legendary liberation that will not close until every
inch of its revolutionary soil has been purged.

All that we seek is the backing of the one Arab people
throughout the Arab homeland from Tangier to Doha.
What is happening in plundered Palestine, in the south
of the Sudan, and the dirty threats against some
fraternal states, cannot be separated from the
barbarous assault on Iraq.  This is all one wound.
This is one battle. This is against one enemy.  And we
must also take a stand in the trench of armed struggle
as one people.
