US plans for Iraqi nat'l bourgeoisie

This is exactly what has taken place, albeit by more "civilized"
methods and to different degrees (according to previous degree of
development and the resiliency of the particular formation), in
Argentina, Perú, Brazil,. Same thing happened in Russia (as late Mark
told us repeatedly).

The idea is to substitute a roguish gang of moneyseekers for any
trace of "entrepreneurial" (that is, prone to put money to anything
else than buying foreign goods, bonds and stocks) upper class. This
can be done by turning gangsters into a ruling class. Think of the
Cuba of Batista.

Whoever has read the description of the rule of finance capital in
Marx's _18th Brummaire_ will have a pale idea of what do these plans
achieve.

Organized crime and bourgeoisie seem to overlap perfectly nowadays.
Michael Corleone has had a bitter victory: that class he wanted to
member has decided to learn from him and his business methods.
