Sorry, Phil, but the contrary is the case.
Now, instead of only having to deal with their home-grown petty tyrants, the
Iraqi people - after suffering huge losses of killed, and maimed and of
houses, public buildings, and hospitals, including the looting of their
country's arheological treasures - now have to deal with their imperialist
occupiers before any question of improvement in "freedom and democracy" can
become possible.
You can't possibly, seriously believe that invasion can EVER be a positive
way of ridding a country of a PETTY tyrant...
