Mark Jones

I have only just heard about this. It wasn't unexpected, but it is a
shock and a blow nonetheless. I only knew Mark via Marxmail and the
A-list, but in recent months, after we had both written about Welsh
history, we had written to each other, and his kind words for me were
appreciated and will be cherished. My only consolation is that his
passing is so difficult because his presence, for which we are all the
richer, was so valuable. He will be missed, but not forgotten.
