What treason did they commit?  They oppose both foreign imperialism and
Saddam's regime.  The US may have no business conducting a regime change,
but the Iraqi people do if they so choose.  I certainly wouldn't shed a
tear if the Republican Guard taught the US and Britain a bloody lesson and
sent them packing, but that doesn't mean that absent such imperialism I
must find Saddam's regime worthy of support.
