Re: Imperialist divisions continue
Speaking of the Six Counties, where Bush and Blair held their mini-
summit, Sinn Fein attempted to have its cake and eat it, too, when
they participated in protests against Bush's visit while their
president, Gerry Adams, met with B & B.
No word on whether Adams took the opportunity to deliver an anti-war
message to B & B. I did note that the SDLP (a moderate, nationalist
party) leader, Mark Durkan, took the opportunity to hand Bush a
petition against the war in Iraq as well as postcards from anti-war
campaigners.
