More likely, if it's not total crap, it's a story planted by US intelligence
(ok, still total crap) to justify taking the war to Syria, and also to
justify this war to begin with. "We didn't find WMD? OF COURSE WE
DIDN'T, they shipped them all the Syria, so now we have to invade
Syria." There have been hints of that line in the press before (at
least the part about WMD relocated to Syria), but with the increasing
likelihood that they won't find any in Iraq (and, contrary to people's
fears, I think planting them would be pretty hard, after all, they can't
plant new WMD, they would have to plant cannisters of chemicals or
biological agents that look and act like they've been in storage for
a dozen years), now the only place they have to turn is the "transfer"
story.
