AGITPROP NEWS: Divine Providence
In this issue:
DIVINE PROVIDENCE
Join the LaBOR aRT & MuRAL PRoJECT for a series of cultural events organized by
Paul Buhle of Brown University, artists, activists and friends in Providence,
Rhode Island.
Mike Alewitz, Artistic Director of LaMP, will be speaking at a number of
Providence locations. Along with local volunteers, he will paint a portable
mural and create Agitprop art for use in upcoming mobilizations against the
war.
The weeks events will be recorded by LA film maker Sean Geary for an
upcoming feature -length documentary. . The centerpiece of the film will be
the upcoming LaMP project to paint twin murals in Israel and the Occupied
Territories on a theme of Arab-Jewish labor solidarity.
