Thank you, Comrade Flanders, but that's exactly what I did before ever
engaging this subject.

I read Mark Jones' posts.  I did not find his explanation any better, any
more grounded in the actual operation of the oil industry, than the 15 or so
other studies I've read about the looming shortage of oil.

I might ask though, if we've been through the discussion before, why bring
it up again?

Clearly, you and many others think it has validity, relevance, to the
current situation.  I respect that.  I think that's an excellent reason to
bring it up again.  I think it's also an excellent reason to disagree with
the analysis.
