Re: Thick fog around Baghdad

Lou Paulsen wrote, somewhat redundantly :-P : Really the fog has
really set in. The power going off - that could be a war crime that
the US isn't admitting to, or a ruse that Iraq isn't admitting to.

Funny thing about that. Today the US says they didn't do it. But just
YESTERDAY I was watching on TV where they were talking about
their Tomahawk missiles specially equipped with carbon-fiber
filaments for destroying electric generators (the same thing they did
in Yugoslavia). And, as per usual on American TV, as I've mentioned
a couple times recently in other contexts, the words "war crime"
or "possible war crime" never left the lips of the reporters, who
could talk about this, just as they talk about destroying TV stations
or other prima facie war crimes, without skipping a beat.

Incidentally, if I hear the words "take out" as in "take them out"
or "take him out" or "take it out" or in any context other than my
local fast food establishment I think I'm going to scream. Please
excuse me if I do. I like "The Sopranos." Just not as foreign policy.
