Note that south Korea is a component of what may soon be called the
coalition-of-the-ever-so-slightly-less-unwilling-than-everybody-else-in-the-world.
But the Seoul government's plan to send forces to help the war effort has
been paralyzed so far.

SEOUL -- Tens of thousands of workers rallied at a Seoul park to
protest the U.S.-led war in Iraq and the South Korean government plan to
dispatch non-combat troops.
"No War! We oppose troop dispatch!" read yellow signs held by the
demonstrators.
Protest organizers from the Federation of Korean Trade Unions, the
nation's largest labor union, claimed there were more than 50,000 in
attendance.
The demonstrators demanded that the National Assembly reject a
government bill on dispatching 600 military engineers and 100 medics to
support the U.S.-led war.
Amid rising anti-war sentiment, the Assembly delayed voting on the bill
twice last week.
