Wallerstein on Iraq
From: "Paul Flewers" <hatchet.job@xxxxxxxxxx>

So, who's it going to be? Iran, North Korea, Libya

CB: You emphasis an important issue. Unfortunately , I'd say "yup", given the
ability of American propagandists to make a mountain threat out of a mole
hill danger in the minds of so many Americans, as with Iraq, and given that
there may be another terrorist attack sometime in the near term, Bush or the
next pres will probably get away with another war,..unless the current one
turns out _really_ bad, which is not impossible given the "stiffer than
expected" Iraqi resistance so far.
Given the recent revelations about the cabal behind the Bush fascist foreign
policy, there is the will in the ruling class executive to make another war.
Can we grow the anti-imperialist movement in the U.S. fast enough to thwart
them ? Can the world anti-imperialist movement thwart them ?
