I agree that Hardt's grand thesis is, for the
most part, utter garbage. I've written
extensively about Empire elsewhere, so I'm not
going to re-live that debate. Yes, I have read
the book, and I gave it away, paying to send it
to someone else via international airmail. Nor am
I going to set out to write a book length work
about why Hardt and Negri are just so bad. That
certainly does not make me or anyone else who
hates the book an anti-intellectual. If anyone
out there were waiting for the condensed version,
I'd just say they were smart.
