As regards Britain and Ireland, particularly as regards the positions
held by Tom Nairn (Britain breaking apart, Ulster nationality with a
right to national independence, and so on), the most definitive
criticism was drafted by Jim Blaut, and published on _Antipode_ in 1980.
On these issues, Nair was never a Marxist, or at least not a
revolutionary Marxist, but a transplanted Austro-Marxist.
