that's because the class conflict has not become the _primary_ yet in
western countries. there are a whole bunch of reasons for this,
including racism (which exists in a very extreme form in many core
nations), and a stricter cultural hegemony. but your question is a very
big one, it's what the entire study of revolution is founded on. i'll
send the titles of some good books dealing with it in a bit.
