Inquiry about Saddam Hussein food Distribution as efficient according to the UN
Inquiry to all illustrious members of the list:
Couple of days ago I read a dispatch from the
Washington Post bureau in a couple Latin American
newspapers.
Essentially, the article described the very effective
food distribution established by Saddam Hussein which
consist in 90 kilograms of food per family on a
regular basis for a total of about US$.60 (yes, as you
read the figure is .60 cents per 90Kg. of food).
The system is so well established and organized that
won commendations from... the UN!
I did not see that same report published in the
bourgeois media in the US. Would somebody direct me
to the English link of such an article if indeed was
published in the US?
I would greatly appreciate it.
