Total militarization of the federal government,
including servicing its growing debt, its
'entitlement' programs (such as Vet benefits),
and even to the extent that money is borrowed
from social security and other programs to keep
on funding the military (I'd therefore put the
federal budget at well over 60% military or
intelligence related in some way or other).

One way Americans try to stay 'middle class' in
consumption and self-perception is by NOT buying
private health insurance.

Finally, the politics of this group is
milquetoast, but it's a good starting place for
hard factual info.:
