How can Powell expect the world to take his charges against Iraq
seriously after they made such ridiculous charges against Cuba back
before Jimmy Carter went there, charges that Cuba had bio-weapons of
mass destruction, charges that their own US intelligence services were
on record as denying had any credence whatsoever?
So they've brought the spooks to heel?
Placed the top CIAgent within arm's reach of hawk Ambassador Negroponte
behind Powell while the Sect'y of State made his accusations as reason
for war?
A dog and pony show, indeed...
Do they realize they appear strikingly like the Italians before their
invasion of Abyssinia?
