And according to the last "Sunday Times" published
here in Perth, Australia, "Rich get richer faster".
"Tax Office figures show the top 5 per cent of
Australians have enjoyed a 28.2 per cent jump in their
earnings since 1994-95.
"The average fat cat's income ballooned from $112,203
in that year to $143,8443 in 1999-2000, the latest
year for which Tax Office figures were available."

Wealth accumulated by the top one per cent (usually a
rough statistical picture of the ruling class) was not
made available.

Meanwhile, the median income--which measures the wages
of most Aussie wage-slaves went to $29,304, up 7.3 per
cent from 1994.

Of course, the wage-slaves produced all the wealth.
They don't own or control it because of the wages
system.
