I can think of a whole lot, particularly those relating to a falling rate of
profit and overproduction. See other remarks about Caspian which I have
left out of reserves calculations, as for Norway and Denmarks, their fields
in the North Sea don't appear to be quite as washed out as one would be lead
to believe.
Nevertheless the issue is the mode of production. Do you have alternative
information regarding the rise and fall of the rate of return in the
petroleum industry? Do you have other data on the historical price of
production of oil? Do you different numbers for the level of investment?
If so, please share them.
"Me-tooisms" just won't do.
