REMINDER PROTEST FOR VIEQUES, MONDAY, JAN 13 @ 4:30P.M. AT
TIMES SQUARE

THE VIEQUEST SUPPORT CAMPAIGN REPORTS THAT:
The sound permit for the pro-Vieques demonstration has
been issued. This event which will call upon everyone to
support the peoples' struggle to get the U.S. Navy out of
Vieques, will take place as planned.
The importance of this protest is especially clear because
of U.S. war preparations against Iraq which are taking
place in Vieques, Puerto Rico. These rehearsals will be
intense once the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt
and its battle group arrive to engage in target practice
for 29 days.
There is now a slight change of location. The gathering of
the protest will be on 42nd Street and Broadway (south
side of 42nd Street), New York City.
