Re: Source of equivalency stats
[ quoted text snipped ]
Ralph, the very best source for the information which you seek is "World
military and Social Expedditures" by Ruth Leger Sivard. I lost my copies
in moving. You might be able to find a copy in your local library, if not
try this:
World Military and Social Expenditures 1996, Ruth Leger Sivard, with Arlette
Brauer, Lora Lumpe, and Paul Walker, World Priorities, Washington, DC, 1996,
56 pp., ISBN 0-918281-09-1. World Military and Social Expenditures 1996 can
be purchased from Project Ploughshares for $10.50, plus $2.50 shipping and
handling (Canadian orders). For non-Canadian orders, contact World
Priorities (Box 25140, Washington, DC, 20007, (202) 965-1661).
