Hi Mark,
 Umm...I've been thinking of how to handle a reply to such a long essay on
ecology to the planned economy to social priorities. Since you haven' really
finished what you were saying...have you....that is, in all your critique,
you haven't really proposed anything in terms of socialism or even in more
immediate terms...so I'm left with only the possibility of half a reply,
which is not something I want to do.

I wrote out a long response, but I'm stymied by my inability to challenge
anything you propose...except of course your -seemingly- love of the market
to solve all problems and let thinks fall where they may...because you don't
propose anything.

I do find it curious to our list's lovers of Cuba who've said nothing,
absolutely nothing in defense of Cuba and it's policies, it's denial of the
law of value, etc, since clearly the Cubans must fall under those
"Stalinist" policies you take issue with.

No, I think I'll wait a bit and see what others have to say.

I do not take anything you stated about me personally, I understand why you
you lined me up with "Stalinists", for polemical reasons. More later...
