Julio's post is electoral cretinism of the purest water.

Oh let's all go vote for the "good" progressive "antiwar" Democrats against
the bad Republicans. Thus Julio winds up as a pimp for the great ganddaddy
of all imperialist parties, the party of lynching and Jim Crow, the people
who brought us World War I, World War II, Korea and Vietnam, the Democrats.

This is *precisely* the kind of reformist dribble that has taken the
American left to the place where it is today.

Thanks for your reply. I cannot vote in the US. Still, those who can
should. I don't have a clear sense of local politics in the US, which
should matter in a concrete decision, but I insist on my general advice:
Vote for candidates who oppose -- or are more likely to oppose -- the war.
This entails voting for the Democrats where necessary.
