Marcus Strom (nominating officer)
Ahoy! This must be the same Marcus Strom who used to post from Australia
to the original Marxism list. I seem to remember him saying that he was
going off to Great Britain to work with the CPGB, a prospect that for
him seemed on a par with Dorothy's anticipation of Oz. I was supposed to
have a beer with him when he came through NYC on his way to Great
Britain but I blew him off during the worst days of the Shining Path
flame wars. (He was aligned with the madmen, but only critically so.) If
you bump into him, tell him I said hello and that nearly all is forgiven.
