Red, Black, and Jewish
(If I were in New York I would be
certain to attend this event since
Alan Wald's writings have done
an immense service to restoring
a balanced view of many of the
topics addressed in this book.
(One side effect of my many years
in the then-Trotskyist Socialist
Workers Party was the ignoring
where not disdainful attitude many
of us maintained toward cultural
and other activity which occurred
in the milieu of the CPUSA.)
