I know you are busy, but I would really appreciate some comment from you (or
anyone else knowledgable) about the Ecuadorian elections.
Even the so-called 'quality papers' have very little reports about the
smaller Latin American countries. I saw a report in the conservative
Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung the other day calling Lucio Gutiérrez a
'leftist' and putting him in some line with Chavez.
