Re.: Logic 101 and the Axis of Evil
Good old Canuck humour!
Reg Whitaker's observations underlines the folk adage:
"What goes around comes around."
It did remind me also that the United States Navy has recently been
taken to task for experimentation on US sailors with Weapons of Mass
Destruction.
Apparently, flotillas were dusted with germs and other chemistry just to
see what would happen. Of course, this was not donein the heat of
anger, but in the cool-headed quest for knowledge-- so I guess it ain't
so bad.
Other examples abound: CIA and LSD; exposure of soldiers to atomic
radiation; et hoc genus omne.
I don't know about you, but I always thought the Nazi experimentation on
human guinea pigs in the concentration camps was blood-curdlingly
horrifying and to a degree unmitigated by the confusions of depserate
passion --analogous to premeditated mass murder 1 versus mansluaghter.
But that was them.
