Join Ismael Guadalupe of Vieques in 10/26 NYC Vieques Walkathon

The October 26 march on Washington against the War on Iraq and New York
City Walkathon against the bombing of Vieques and the war on Iraq are two
aspects of a single international day of protest against the U.S. war drive,
The march on Washington U.S.-wide and centered on Iraq, while the
walkathon is based among the Puerto Rican people including in Puerto Rico,
where there will be an October 26 protest as well), and focuses on the
bombing as well as the U.S. war. The Vieques Walkathon
was organized and began being built several months before it became clearly
necessary to hold a national march on Washington at this time. The
organizers and very many of the sponsors of the two actions are supporting
and calling for participation in both.
