Re.: Reich's hypocrisy, mixed mode economies, and cet.
I am looking at the world map on my wall--as we speak, as it were--
and imagining IF Argentina, Brazil, and Venezuela default.
Uruguay and Paraguay would fall into the vortex,
Bolivia would jump in,
Ecuador, too, although US forces there and in Peru might
be too intimidating, at first...
The dominoes would really fall then,
right up the peninsula to the Rio Bravo.
And that fence is porous.
The socialism latent in Eastern Europe would sniff the fear,
turn, and snap off the hand that beats it.
Red strains in the Umma would thicken with strength,
extrapolate the tithe to a state of the masses.
Africa from the Cape of Good Hope north would ripple with recognition of
postponed dreams,
and know the debt is past due.
The people of Asia would say, "enough."
No exclamation: simple finality.
The war is over.
To the imperialists, to the bosses,
Your credit is no good here anymore.
Get used to love, instead.
