Good to see McReynolds changed his tune. A while back we discussed on
this list his denunciation of October 26 for no other reason than WWP
was involved in the organizing. I still think his attitude is
sectarian, but at least he's not taking the "how DARE you organize"
attitude of the Nation.

The relationship between NION and the RCP is rather interesting. From
what I understand, NION originally was started by a Mennonite group,
and Refuse & Resist--for whatever reason--got involved. R&R, of course,
has a very close n' comfy relationship with the RCP that borders on
being a front, so it wasn't long until the RCP got involved.

Here in Atlanta, both R&R and NION are fairly bigger than just RCP
cadre. One of R&R's key organizers is very vocally not RCP (he once
very publicly railed against the RCP's inability to develop a
progressive platform on gay rights), and I think only one or two of
NION's organizers are involved with R&R and the RCP.
