Stagnation
Marxism was once a new idea, a radical one designed to free the workers from
their outdated mindset and ways. The great marxists, the true revolutionary
thinkers, are dead and we are split up into opposing camps. Each camp has its
own philosophy, one which it ruthlessly holds it members to. The spirit of
marxism is dying, the initiative being handed off to leaders of organizations.
The leaders are controlling the official views and stagnating original thought
and action. This is not Marxism.
Marxism is an intellectual pursuit, something to question, challenge, and
expand, not a party line handed out and mindlessly accepted by those who feel
they are fighting for something, but are slowly falling into mire worse than
that of capitalism.
So stop thinking only what you are told about socialism, communism, trotskyism,
marxism, etc. and read the original thoughts and the thoughts of other
philosophers and create your own ideas about what marxism is and what is right.
