Perhaps, once. But the "populists" now--at least those who've coopted
the title--go under a Libertarian (big "L") mantle. One of the more
well-known (yet constantly defunct) "populist" organizations is the
Liberty Lobby, headed by Holocaust denier Willis Carto.
