One of the motions passed at the IRSP's recent Ard-Fheis was:
"The IRSP declares its opposition to republicans ever taking seats on the
Northern Ireland Policing Board. The IRSP declare the police force of the
six counties to be irreformable, no matter what name, uniform, or emblems
it uses."
Sinn Fein has been creeping toward taking seats on the NIPB, a few small
steps at a time. The motion was written to specifically address that issue.
