The same thoughts occured to me, Mark.
The material issues should be put to the fore,
and the most efficacious methods to achieve them discussed.
I doubt if there is anyone on this list (i hope do not presume too much)
who does not embrace feminist demands as their own
in the context of socialist revolution.
In the context of socialist revolution
it would be contradictory to do otherwise.
I do acknowledge that as Cherie says that there are types who
wear the label of feminist but use it as a device for personal and/or
ideological opportunity. But the way around that is, as Erin suggests,
and you describe,
to go to the substantial nub.
