That class, gender and race are categories with a
dialectical relationship does not make them
interchangeable. It requires considerable thought and
clarification to make acceptable the assertion
that "the old conundrum [of class and gender]will never
go away until it is dealt with in a manner satisfactory
to women."

For purposes of space, let's just cite the Nazi use
of "gendered rhetoric" for an example of how such
appeals can be turned to the interests of paternalistic
hierarchies. What Red Rosa needs to do just won't
address the issue in "a manner satisfactory"
for "women" like Frau Goebbels. Or vice versa.
