One thing to bear in mind: Tasmanian electoral law forbids any electoral
propaganda being put out on election day. This is actually quite
undemocratic. One way for candidates with little financial clout to
reach voters is at the polling booths on election day, but that's
impossible in Tasmania.
Of course the SA did have 2 TV advertisements (no doubt because of the
law) so they still would have reached a lot of people.
