IRSP: Lawlor Murder is Clearly Sectarian

Lawlor Murder is Clearly Sectarian
The IRSP in North Belfast are calling for the British and Irish
governments to wake up and smell the coffee and to kick-start a
conflict resolution process in the wake of the murder of Gerard
Lawlor.
North Belfast IRSP representative Paul Little said:
"Following one loyalist murder and several attempted murders in
nationalist areas of the north of the city the situation is reaching
the breaking point.
"Whilst young men lie dead and dying in our streets, both governments
stand exposed as the conductors of a political process that has no
relevance or impact on the ground. The IRSP are concerned that the
ongoing loyalist sectarian murder campaign is being ignored by the
politicians in their rush either to implement or wreck the Stormont
Assembly.
In conclusion, the IRSP representative said "one thing is patently
clear: whatever the political process is, it is not a peace process
in any way, shape, or form. The sooner the politicians and the media
recognise this point, the sooner an effective conflict resolution
process can begin."
