Forwarded from Benjamin Tepolt

To introduce myself, my name is Benjamin Tepolt -- I am an ardent writer,
author, and activist of certain world issues, one including Socialism. I
have recently composed a book entitled, "Class War," (available free) which
launches a powerful, incisive attack on the system of Capitalism, and also
criticizes pure Communism. The book advocates: higher minimum wages, safe
working conditions, better working hours, a significant part of the economy
owned and operated by the government, among other Socialist reforms. The
book uses a great deal of evidence, proof, and reasoning to support the
claims that the workers (and consumers) are deserving of a better system.
In so doing, the book answers three questions: (1) Is Socialism needed? --
or, are workers getting their fair share? (2) Is Socialism possible? -- or,
can Socialism be incorporated without harming industry? And (3) Is
Socialism just? -- or, are the mechanics of the current system unjust? The
book is available online now at: http://www.punkerslut.com/books/classwar.html

I have placed a link to your site on my own site already:
http://www.punkerslut.com/socialistlinks.html (An index of Socialist,
Labor, and Progressivist links -- if you would like to be removed, please
e-mail me.)

I would be greatly pleased if you were capable of placing a link to the
book on your site. Thanks.
An excerpt....

"The question still remains: are the Capitalist classes under any
obligation to the Proletariat? Since it is the Proletariat who produce
society and the wealth of society, including the wealth of the Capitalist,
it is certainly true that the Capitalist class owes the Proletariat. These
things they call robbery -- minimum wage, safe working conditions, minimum
working hours -- are things that we are justified in demanding from them.
If a king cannot govern us with the coercion of his military, then by what
right can a Capitalist govern us with the coercion of starvation? Both
Monarchy and Capitalism are tyrranical and neither are fit for a free
people. The justification for Socialism is this: the Capitalists do owe an
obligation to the Proletariat. This obligation comes from the Proletariat
providing the Capitalist class with their products, their buildings, and
their profits. It is the duty of the Capitalist class to provide well for
their workers, just as it is the duty of a father to give his children
nothing but affection and kindness, just as it is the duty of a government
to uphold justice and liberty. The Capitalists may debauch Socialism or
Communism as theft as much as they want, but the fact still remains: a
Capitalist's wealth is gained from the labor of another. Since the wealth
of the Capitalists is dependent upon the work of the Proletariat, the
Capitalists owe part of the wealth to the Proletariat. This is the
justification for Socialism." [Chapter 6.]

Another excerpt...

"We need a revolution to end the tyranny of corporate greed. I quoted this
information in chapter 4, 'On March 14 1997, Reuters had a report on a Nike
factory, Pouchen in Dong Nai, forced 56 Vietnamese women workers to run
around the factory's premise, 12 fainted and were taken to the hospital
emergency room.' The brutality, the inhumanity, the complete lack of
decency, of the Capitalist system is the dark, luminous shroud that holds
its tyrannical yoke over the good, working Proletariat. It will forever
continue to exploit and abuse as long as it is allowed to. There is only
one way to end it, and that is through revolution and overthrowing the
heartless and cruel Capitalist system. As long as we are slaves of this
beast, as long as we are dependent on a poor wage for survival, as long as
injustice is considered unimportant, as long as the things which make
living a misery still exist, Capitalism will succeed and the corporate
monsters will continue to grow and become richer. We do not need a
revolution tomorrow, or the day after, or next year. Because it is today
that the Capitalist class exploits the worker -- it is today that the
bosses beat their workers with whips, that families struggle to survive
with poor-paying jobs, that workers are jailed in prisons for starting
unions, it is today that Capitalism continues to spread its oppressive
regime, and it is today that a Revolution is needed!" [Chapter 8.]
If you would like to post a chapter, or a segment, or the entire thing, at
your website, please contact me further for such information.

Thanks.
