The crimes of Pueyrredon Bridge

In the end, I was wrong. The killer had been the police officer in
charge of the operation, together with some of his aides.

The really important thing with this, however, is that both the
Governor of the Province of Buenos Aires (first) and Duhalde, later
on, built on the discovery (provided by the amazingly accurate
evidence provided by six photographers) some amount of legitimacy
against the pro-dollarization (and pro-chaos) fraction of the ruling
party. The weight of the evidence was so great that both could put
the whole Police to public judgement.

It would not be impossible that both try to dismantle the enormous
system of crime that lurks beneath the surface of the Argentinean
Federal Police and the Provincial Police of Buenos Aires.

In the end, though this is exactly the opposite view to that of most
of the piqueteros and that of Zamora / Ripoll / the mainstream
"left", both Duhalde and Solá are interested in dismounting this
monster, due to reasons quite different to those that we may have. It
is too late in the night, so that I will quit now. But the way the
whole issue has evolved was quite unexpected.

As to yesterday's mobilisation, I suggest those cdes. who dare to
grapple with Spanish to read both my mail to this list ("La alianza
trágica") and some of the very good contributions we have been having
on Reconquista-popular on the issue.
