This is what happens when those full of themselves, but not knowledge, are
left unsupervised (or unedited).

The movie was "Happy Gilmore" (which rhymes with Fillmore, not Sandler), and
it was pretty damn funny. Liked the fight scene between Sandler and Bob
Barker, of "The Price Is Right" fame.

A word of advice, comrade: stay away from the "independent" film festivals
for once and try observing modern "mass culture". It would be more
worthwhile to review the latter from a Marxist perspective.
